Guests may book in advance or on arrival. Rooms are subject to availability and the Corner House reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason. |

Guests, booking more than 7 days in advance, will be requested to pay a deposit of 50% of the total sum of their stay. |

Payment of the 50% deposit of the total sum of their stay can be made:
- In cash. On request, The Corner House will supply a written receipt to the payer.
- By Credit Card. Only MasterCard or Visa credit cards will be accepted. For the guest's own safety, the Corner House advises their guests to supply their credit card details directly by phone (+27 21 876 4729) or by fax (+27 21 876 4377). Never send credits card details by email.
The credit card details, required by The Corner House, are:
* The 16 digits number of the credit card,
* The date of expiry of the credit card,
* The 3 digits CVV number on the back of the credit card.
Upon receipt of the above credit card details, The Corner House will make an electronically withdrawal of the 50% deposit and the guest's booking is considered as confirmed.

With your EFT payment, email proof of payment to thecornerhouse@iafrica.com or fax it to +27 21 876 4377. Upon receipt of payment of the 50% deposit, the guest's booking is considered as confirmed. EFT payments from outside South Africa: please add 10%. That's the amount South African banks are charging us. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this. So payment by Credit Card is always cheaper.

Late bookings: bookings made 7 days or less require full payment of the total sum of the guest(s) at the time of booking. |

With a confirmed booking, the guest's booked room(s) will stay reserved up to the day of their announced arrival. |

Check-in time is from 14:00. Please inform our staff by phone (+27 21 876 4729) in case of a late arrival (after 17:00). |

Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Failure to do so will entitle the Corner House to charge for an additional night, unless otherwise agreed with the Management. |

In case of cancellation of a booking or "no show", the following conditions apply:
- Cancellation 7 days before the arrival date or less or a "no show": 100% of the quoted room(s) rate (up to maximum of 3 nights) will be due.
- Cancellation 8 - 14 days before the arrival date: 100 % of the deposit (up to maximum of 3 nights) will be due.
- Cancellation 15 - 30 days before the arrival date: 50% of the deposit (up to maximum of 3 nights) will be due.

Departures prior to the booked departure date will attract full payment of the quoted room(s) rate for the originally-booked dates (up to a maximum of 3 days). |

The Corner House does not allow smoking in its rooms and public areas; however, smoking is permitted on the veranda and in the garden. |

The Corner House always advises its guests to purchase the necessary travel/cancellation insurance. |

The Corner House does not accept responsibility for theft or for damage to the guest goods; valuables can be kept safely in the guest's room safe. |

Guests of the Corner House can make freely use of the Corner House facilities; however the use of the Corner House facilities is at the guest own risk. |

Damage to the Corner House building or contents thereof, caused by its guest(s), will be added to the guest(s) bill. |

No booking at the Corner House will be accepted if the guest does not agree with the Terms & Conditions, mentioned here above. |

Children under the age of 5 years, sharing bed with parents, stay for free. |
